Task 029_Emily's Editorial Image

This is an example of Task 029 _ Editorial Image.
The first image is the edited image.
The second image it the original image.

Edited Image:
The edited image of the young boy conveys a message of “Fight”, which would also be the title of the picture.  His fists are up at his face as if ready to block the punch or to swing the punch.  He also has a look of determination on him.  He looks as if to say…No More.  In this edited image, his fists are the foreground, he is the middle ground, and the wall is the background.  As the observer of the image, I am almost eye level with the child (as if I was the one he was ready to fight).

Original Image:
The original image is of three boys that are attending a cooking class in Tampa, Florida called “Kids Cook”.  In this picture, the two boys are on looking as the one flips the chicken that they are preparing for the Dino Jerk Chicken.  The older boy (on the left) is intent to do it right, the middle boy (and the youngest) looks to be nervous about what the older one is doing and the last boy is watching intently hoping it comes out right too.  In this picture, I feel like the young boy has his arms up because the photographer is trying to squeeze all three boys into the picture.  The pan of food is in the foreground, the boys are in the middle ground, and the wall behind them is the background.  Again as the observer of the image, I am eye level with the boys.

Task 018_Hike's Illustrated Poster

This is my illustrated poster of the poem "Family Comes Together" by Glaedr.  I used pictures of my family to illustrate the poem.  The watermark is a picture of my wedding day.  Photo 1 is a picture of my nieces and nephew.  Photo 2 is a picture of my mother, three sisters and myself.  Photo 3 is a picture of the men (nephew, two brother-in-laws, and my husband) in our family.
