Tagxedo turns words into a visually stunning word cloud, words individually sized appropriately to highlight the frequencies of occurrence within the body of text.

We used tagxedo when we research animals and/or habitats.  Students researched their topic.  They then took the words from their research to create a picture of the topic.  They were assessed on their use of color and choice of design to represent their topic.  Below is an example of my students work.

Web 2.0 Research Tools

In my Pinterest searching I came across this website and thought it to be helpful. In the short time I have been in this class there have been many Web 2.0 tools that have been discussed that I did not know about. In this guide written by M. Embi, explains what each tool is and how to use it. Hope you can find some use for it.
